ABOUT
THE FAMILY
Our grandmother moved to Waimanalo from Samoa and opened a Samoan boutique called Faleoloa Samoa mo Samoa. At the height of the Samoan migration to Hawaii in the mid 1950's, she sought to engage her community by hosting events of which she'd cook Samoan food and promote Samoan bands who's music are today's classics.

In the same entrepreneurial spirit of our grandmother, our family has sought to bless our community with much of the same recipes and love for music. It would be safe to say that we are the first Samoan and Polynesian dine-in restaurant offering authentic Samoan food and baked goods.
covid
After 2 years of selling Samoan baked goods at the Hilo Farmer's Market, we began selling hot food on the side of the highway if front of our home. Amid the COVID outbreak, we were still getting many customers lining the sidewalk. Fortunately, we were able to find a location close to home and in the same community at the Keaau Shopping Center, where you will find us today. We opened our doors on November 7, 2020 during a pandemic and we hope to make it through these uncertain times.
